APPLICATION DUE DATE—WEDNESDAY, January 27, 2010
An email confirmation will be sent to each applicant upon receipt of completed application.
Eligibility Criteria:
Priority will be given to individuals who have received their Ph.D. or M.D. (or equivalent degrees) no later than July 2008. Applicants must have at least 2 years of subsequent research experience. Applicants should not yet have achieved a tenured position at their institution. (The typical past participant has had 4–5 years of research experience.) Beyond these eligibility criteria, we are seeking researchers who have demonstrated research potential and experience, and who will clearly benefit from behavioral randomized controlled trial training. The ideal candidate will have prior experience (and will be actively pursuing an independent research career) in behavioral randomized clinical trials.
Restrictions:
Due to the limited number of spaces in the course, applicants must be citizens or non-citizen nationals of the United States, or must have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence (i.e., possess a currently valid Alien Registration Receipt Card I-551 or other legal verification of such status). Women, minorities, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Notices:
If you require reasonable accommodations because of a disability in order to participate in this activity, please include this information with your application or inform Ms. Sidnitra Bates at least 60 business days before the course begins. A request for reasonable accommodations for a disability will not influence the selection process.
Please note that this course is not associated with the National Institute of Mental Health nor the Social Work Interventions Training Program, which is also sponsored by OBSSR.
An email confirmation will be sent to each applicant upon receipt of completed application.
Fellowship invitations will be sent out via email only on or after March 26, 2010.
If you have any questions regarding the application or the electronic submission requirements for applying, please contact Ms. Sidnitra Bates at obssr2010@blseamon.com or 301-577-0244, ext. 64.
